Grades 1-6 Overview
DeSoto Private School offers a strong and enriching college preparatory curriculum for its students in Grades 1 - 6. Our program is designed to strengthen children in all academic areas, including Reading, Math, Language Arts, Spelling, Spanish, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies. The core curriculum is further enhanced by activities in our modern, state-of-the-art Computer Lab. All students in Grades 1 - 6 participate in the Accelerated Reading Program which is supported by the extensive selection of books found in our modern library. Activities are planned throughout the year to create a challenging environment in which our students can grow and flourish in all areas of development. At DeSoto Private School, we strive to give our students the academic and organizational tools they will need to be successful in their educational future.
